At Pendle Community Radio (PCR) we have many volunteering opportunities available. So if you are interested in volunteering with us please complete our volunteer registration form and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
We try to provide a diverse and exciting range of programmes for our community and listeners that exist within the surrounding regions of Pendle. We need help with work behind the scenes at Pendle Community Radio – maintaining our website, editing podcasts, production support, news reporting and coordinating other activities we are involved with.
These exciting roles will provide you with an opportunity to learn many new experiences and new skills at Pendle Community Radio.
Presenting – If presenting a show to your community is something which interests you, get in touch and we can provide presenter training to accomodate your needs.
Editing – If sound editing is something you’re interested in then we have many opportunities for you. We have a number of shows which need help with editing.
Production Support – A number of our shows are seeking help and support with producing the shows – work would range from research, on-air support, and co-ordination help.
Local News – We’re looking for news readers to help with our local news bulletins every day. If you’re interested in news reading/reporting and interviewing people in your community, then why not get involved with the PCR news team.
Sport – If you’re interested in reporting on any aspect of local/community sports then please get in touch.
Listings/Events – We’re looking for a team of volunteers who can help co-ordinate information on the latest that’s happening in the many communities within Pendle, which we can use across various shows.
